Annual Pine Cone Festival
Come join us! Families enjoy a fun-filled back-to-nature FREE festival in the mountains, while learning about wildfire safety and healthy forests.
The Pine Cone Festival has twice been featured in Auto Club's Westways Magazine as one of the "5 Worth the Drive" for October!
You can participate in great activities for PRIZES - the World's Largest Pine Cone Contest, Pine Cone Craft contest, Pine Cone Olympics and more. Or take a mile long Nature Walk (guided or self) to learn about the Forest and earn a cool Pine Cone pin. Meet Festival mascot - Cheekers the squirrel - and say Hi! to Smokey Bear! There is live music, food, artisans, unique gifts and wares, first responders, and kids' activities all day long. After the Festival, visit nearby Big Bear, Running Springs, Lake Arrowhead & Crestline. For more info, visit www.PineConeFestival.org.
