Customer Service Basics Workshop Series - Overview
Recent polling of guests to Big Bear indicate that our businesses and residents should dust off their customer service skills. Excellent customer service and simple courtesies to guests visiting Big Bear are essential to maintaining and growing the local Big Bear Valley economy that keep businesses open, provide jobs and support of local non-profits and the community.  

The Chamber is offering six (6) evening workshops on customer service skills this fall. The workshops are open to member and non-member business owners, managers, supervisors and employees and free to high school juniors and seniors.

This first three workshops focus on the basic customer service skills that everyone dealing with the public should have, in plenty! This workshop is repeated on October 14 & October 21.  It will include a discussion of the very basic skills to deliver excellent customer service, building your soft skills, and why great customer service benefits the business and you, and our local economy in the Big Bear Valley. Each of these workshops focus on: why it is important to the business and to Big Bears' local economy; soft skills; the basic checklist for delivering excellent customer service and tips for developing loyal customers through great customer service.  Part-lecture, part interactive. 

The final three (3) workshops are being specifically offered for Retailers, restaurants/eateries/bars, and lodging (hotels, motels, short term rentals, and small cottage businesses). They will focus on building your customer service skills and focusing on those customer service tips that are essential for that type of business.

Non-Member Business owners, managers, supervisors / employees
$50 per workshop 
High School Juniors and Seniors may attend as guests of the Chamber at no charge. A certificate of completion will be issued for each and every workshop attended to these students.

Pre-Registration is REQUIRED.

Any workshop with less than 25 registrants will be CANCELLED out of consideration for our speakers' preparation and time.
