About Us

The purpose of the Mountain Resort Communities Association of REALTORS® (MRCAOR) is to:

1. Serve as the local REALTOR® association for the Big Bear Valley, Lake Arrowhead, and surrounding mountain resort communities.

2. Act as a liaison between local members and the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

3. Provide essential services, including exclusive access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) tailored for mountain resort communities.

4. Support REALTORS® and Affiliate members by equipping them with the tools, education, and resources they need to serve their clients with excellence.

5. Protect homeownership and property rights through local, state, and national advocacy and lobbying efforts.

6. Promote ongoing education to ensure REALTORS® stay informed about market changes, new laws, risks like cyber fraud, and other critical issues affecting real estate and property ownership.

In essence, MRCAOR exists to empower its members, uphold industry standards, and safeguard the rights of homeowners and buyers in the mountain resort communities.
