Grateful Heart Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny will be hiding 3000 candy filled Easter Eggs on the Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary grounds. Come enjoy a fun filled afternoon hunting for eggs at our very first Easter Egg Hunt Fundraising Event.

You are welcome to take pictures of your children with the Easter Bunny!

There will be an egg hunting section for ages 2 to 4 where parents are welcome to join their children and assist them in the hunt. There will also be an egg hunting section for ages 5 to 8 and a section for ages 9 to 12.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR LONG PANTS AND CLOSED TOED SHOES SUCH AS TENNIS SHOES OR HIKING BOOTS. THE TERRAIN IS DIRT AND MAY BE ROCKY, UNEVEN AND SLOPED IN AREAS.

Please let your children know that they must walk to hunt for the eggs. NO RUNNING PLEASE OR YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL as there are many trees with low branches and the terrain can be challenging at times. We don't want anyone to get hurt.

Please remember to bring your own Easter Basket or bucket to put your eggs in!

In addition to the egg hunt we will be having a raffle for giant "Mystery Easter Eggs". You will not know what is inside the big plastic egg! The raffle tickets will be $1.00 per ticket and you may purchase as many as you wish at the event, CASH ONLY PLEASE. We will pick the winning tickets at the end of the Easter Egg Hunt so if you purchase tickets please stay until the end. Winners must be present.

Tickets for the Grateful Heart Easter Egg Hunt Event are a $10.00 minimum donation per participant. Parents of participants and children under 2 are free. Each participant will receive a wrist band upon entry.

There is very limited parking at the sanctuary. Additional parking will be on Pioneer Town Road and will require a bit of a walk down dirt roads to get to Grateful Heart Animal Sanctuary. We ask that you do not trespass on the privately owned vacant lots in between the parking on Pioneer Town Road and Lakeview Road. Please look for parking signs directing you to the off site parking.
